Use your insurance benefits

Do you provide insurance receipts?

Yes. While we do not direct bill, we provide official receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider or spending account for reimbursement.

Regulated vs. Non-Regulated Service

  • Registered Dietitian & Physiotherapy: These are regulated health services. College registration numbers are included on applicable receipts for submission to standard extended health benefits or spending accounts.

  • Kinesiology & Clinical Exercise: Kinesiology is non-regulated in Alberta. These sessions (such as VO2 Max) do not qualify for extended benefits, but are frequently eligible for Health Spending Accounts (HSA), Wellness Spending Accounts (WSA), or flexible benefit funds.

Types of Receipts

  • Master Package Receipt: Issued automatically upon full package payment, this displays your complete purchase and includes our Registered Dietitian license number. We recommend submitting this to your Extended Health plan first—it is also widely accepted by Health Spending Accounts (HSA/WSA) if your primary plan requires per-session receipts.

  • Proof-of-Session Receipts: Individual session receipts issued after each completed appointment. These confirm your attendance and list the practitioner's registration number (for RD and Physiotherapy sessions).

To be very clear: Receipts are issued as-is — dates and fees cannot be modified. If you have benefits expiring soon, you may purchase a package to receive your Master Receipt immediately and schedule your appointments as you go.

Pro Tip: To help budget, look up coverage details under paramedical services in your insurance portal and check your plan's Reasonable and Customary Fee (RCF) — this is the maximum amount your insurer will reimburse per session. Dietitian and physiotherapy services also qualify as a tax-deductible medical expense.

THE REGISTERED DIETITIAN DIFFERENCE

Registered Dietitians:
The only legally regulated nutrition professionals.

"Registered Dietitian" is a protected title under Alberta's Health Professions Act, meaning our team has met rigorous academic, clinical, and regulatory standards to practice dietetics in Alberta by law. As recognized experts in nutritional biochemistry, metabolism, and metabolic data interpretation, our Registered Dietitians set the clinical foundation for our care—collaborating directly with our Registered Physiotherapists and Clinical Exercise Specialists to deliver complete, full-body support under one roof.

What that means as a clinical baseline:

  • University Education: Every member of our team holds a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree—with many holding Master’s degrees—in specialized health disciplines including Human Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, and Exercise Physiology.

Supervised Clinical Practicums: Our Registered Dietitians and Physiotherapists have completed 1,200+ hours of accredited clinical internships, hospital residencies, and practical training before passing national board registration exams. Eligible for Extended Health Benefits & HSAs.

  • Regulated & Accountable: Our Dietitians and Physiotherapists are governed under the Health Professions Act by the College of Dietitians of Alberta and the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, adhering to strict annual practice requirements and professional oversight.

  • Flexible Insurance Coverage: Services provided by our Registered Dietitians and Physiotherapists qualify for standard Extended Health Benefits and Health Spending Accounts (HSA). Kinesiology and supervised clinical exercise sessions are widely covered under Wellness Spending Accounts (WSA) and flexible benefit plans.
